The Heart Behind AVEMA
Gabriela Castillo
My journey in canine care began five years ago in my home country, where I opened my home as a temporary foster space for stray dogs and collaborated with local organizations to provide food, vaccinations and the opportunity for a safer life.
After moving to the United States, I transformed that calling into a profession—becoming a groomer, earning my canine dental hygienist certification through Merryfield School and becoming certified in Pet CPR. These experiences shaped AVEMA: a brand founded on compassion, preparation, trust and the belief that every dog deserves thoughtful, dignified care.
